The Session is the governing body of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church. The members of Session are called Elders.
In the New Testament, "presbuteros" means elder, and refers to the custom of choosing leaders and advisors from among the wisest members of the church.
The Session is called on to approve major initiatives of the church, as well as Christian Education curriculum, teachers and actions of ministry teams.
