Crossroads Springs Institute

The HIV/AIDS pandemic in Kenya has left millions of children orphaned and communities struggling to cope.Crossroads Springs founder, Dr. Meshack Isiaho, said in 2004, “I would give the rest of my life to care for and educate the children in my community if I could find donors.” That was the beginning and now, 8 years later the school cares for and educates 320 children. Each child is provided 2 meals per day, mandatory uniforms, health care and quality education in compliance with Kenyan educational curriculum. OP Presbyterian Church has partnered with Crossroads Springs Institute to help make a difference to the children.

Presbyterian USA Church Wide Offerings

Each year our church contributes to the four Presbyterian USA church wide offerings:

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING: The One Great Hour of Sharing offering helps people in the United States and around the world in three areas:  Self-development of People, Presbyterian Hunger Program and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

PENTECOST:The Pentecost offering targets children at risk, youth and young adults.  Our congregation designates 40% of this offering as we wish.

PEACEMAKING OFFERING: As Christians, we are called to promote peace within our families, our communities and our world.  The Peacemaking Offering is received on World Communion Sunday as we join with Christians around the world for unity and peace.

CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING:The Christmas Joy Offering supports the unmet needs of families who have given their lives to the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  The offering supports racial ethnic education, helping students develop their gifts and find their calling, and helps the families of active and retired church workers meet unexpected needs.
